GNOSTIC STUDY GROUP with Karl Kabanek, 7-8pm, donation. A continuing series on the third Tuesday of each month. The Gnostic study group discusses the different aspects of the esoteric and mystical traditions associated with Christian Gnosticism with an emphasis on the Sophian Tradition. We are discussing the Gospel of Thomas, suggested text by Tau Malachi, and Living Gnosis also by Tau Malachi. Both available at Unlimited Thought. PAGAN PATHWAYS WORKSHOP. A continuing series every Thursday evening at 7-9pm for $5 per session. Pagan Pathways began as Wicca Workshop over 15 years ago. This workshop is an open forum for people of all walks of life looking to find their own level of spirituality. The workshop focuses on the principles and traditions of Pagan religions, and members of any spiritual path are welcome to attend. Although most of the time all you need to bring is yourself, occasionally we will hold a special ritual workshop where food, supplies or personal tokens are needed. Participation in ritual is always voluntary, you can still attend the class without participating in ritual if you choose. SACRED GEOMETRY
We have all heard that Awe are all One, but, exactly how is that possible? Be a loving person and youll find a loving partner.

You must be that which you desire. Theres no point whatsoever in an unloving man or woman bemoaning their inability to find a partner. Theyre doomed to endless frustration because they dont recognize the perfect match when it appears. That loving person could be right there, right now, and their resistance doesnt allow them to see it. The unloving person continues to blame bad luck or a series of external factors for their not having a loving relationship.

Love can only be attracted by and returned by love. The best advice I can give for attracting and maintaining spiritual partnerships, is to be what it is that you are seeking. Most relationships that fail to sustain themselves are based on one or both of the partners feeling as if their freedom has been compromised in some way. Spiritual partnerships, on the other hand, are never about making another person feel inferior or ignored in any way. The term spiritual partnership simply means that the energy holding the two of you together is in close harmony with the Source energy of intention.

This means that an allowing philosophy flows through the partnership, and you need never fear that your freedom to fulfill your own inner knowing about your purpose is questioned. Its as if each person has whispered silently to the other, You are Source energy in a physical body, and the better you feel, the more of this loving, kind, beautiful, receptive, abundant, expanding, and creative energy is flowing through you. I respect this Source energy, and I share it with you as well. When either of us feels downhearted, theres less of this energy of intention flowing. We must always remember that nothing is disallowed by the universal mind. Whatever is not allowing us to be happy is being disallowed by us. Im committed to staying in this energy field of intention and watching myself whenever I slip. Its that very Source that brought us together, and Ill work to stay in harmony with it.

Mystically speaking, theres no difference between you and another person. A weird concept, perhaps, but nevertheless valid. This explains why you cant hurt another person without hurting yourself, nor can you help another person without helping yourself. You share the same Source energy with everyone, and consequently, you must begin to think and act in a way that reflects your awareness of this principle. When you feel the need to have the right person show up, begin to change your inner dialogue to reflect this awareness. Rather than saying, I wish this person would show up because I need to get out of this rut, activate a thought that reflects your connection, such as: I know the right person will be arriving in divine order at precisely the perfect time.

If a friendship or partnership requires the submission of your higher original nature and dignity, its simply wrong. When you truly know what it is to love, as youre loved by your Source, you wont experience the kind of pain you did in the past when your love was unnoticed or rejected. It will, instead, be similar to how a friend described her experience of choosing to leave a relationship: My heart was broken, but it felt like it was stuck in the open position. I felt love flowing toward this person who couldnt love me the way I wanted to be loved, even as I left that relationship to seek the love I felt inside of me. It was strange to feel the pain of my broken heart. And at the same time feel its openness. I kept thinking, My hearts broken, but its broken open. I shifted to an entirely new level of loving and being loved. The relationship Id dreamed of having manifested 18 months later!

You are love. You emanated from pure love. Youre connected to this Source of love at all times. Think this way, feel this way, and youll soon act this way. And all that you think, feel, and do will be reciprocated in exactly the same fashion. Believe it or not, this principle of the right person showing up has been in place forever. Its only your ego thats kept you from seeing it clearly.

I wish Id listened more, but then again I wouldnt have learned some of my lifes most important lessons.
Once in a while Grandma Ada used to say that if something hit you squarely in the solar plexus, that was a psychic hit, so you had to make a fast decision. By the same token, when you meet someone, your first impression is usually right because your intellect hasnt gotten in there to mess it up yet. But if you do something blindly for all the wrong reasons, then your haste will make waste.

My grandmother was so ahead of her time. She ingrained in my soul that this world was just a temporary place to learn and do good. She also used to say that being psychic is only part of a bigger picture, which was to show people that Gods consciousness is all around us, and that His and Her helpers are always there for us, as long as we dont get caught up in our own stuff and ego. Ive personally been defamed, gone broke, been divorced, and lost loved ones; yet I keep getting up and trying again, knowing that those who love me always will, and those who dont love me arent going to, and thats all right, too.

Even now when Im in the throes of helping someone and it gets to be too hard, I hear Grandmas words: If you keep carrying someone, his legs wont work anymore. I think its amazing that so many decades after she went Home, her words are still influencing my life, but thats bound to happen with someone as full of insight, wisdom, and greatness as she was.

Grandma used to say that there was a time for everything, and if you just stayed on a good course, God would present your opportunities. She told me to expect nothing, accept everything that was good on my path, and negate the bad. I wish Id listened to that more, but then again I wouldnt have learned some of my lifes most important lessons.

Here are 12 of Grandma Adas favorite sayings, which over the years have become life lessons for me. I know that several of these come from literature or the Bible and have been around for a long time, but it takes a good mind to know when to apply them so that they pack the greatest punch.

1.Love can overcome any problem.
2.You can shatter the vase if you will, but the scent of the roses clings to it still.
3.Dont let negativity fill your heart . . . it will show in your eyes and on your face.
4.If you lose something precious, God will replace it with something good.
5.God lets us see ghosts and spirits to show us that we live on beyond this life.
6. Ignorance is the worst thing you can let your mind entertain.
7. If you have a secret, keep it to yourself, or else the whole world will know it.
8.Unkind words are like opening a feather pillow in the wind and then picking up all the feathers.
9.Dont put sweaters on your children when you are cold.
10.If you lie, you weave a web that you become imprisoned in.
11.God answers prayers. He just sometimes says no.
12.You have to be respectful to be respected.
